Website development is an ongoing task, or in tech speak, an iterative process. Beyond building the actual website, it is also necessary to document how a site functions, especially in cases when website content is created dynamically by users. Therefore, the project team has created the Portal Users Guide to help teachers and students understand how the Ossabest Portal works.
Additionally, the project team has written a number of tutorials for teachers and students. Tutorials specific to the project portal explain how to create field guide entries and how to download data and create graphs with sensor data. Basic Website development is introduced in the HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) tutorials.
